ISA Science City International School is a world IB school providing a balanced education affording the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth of all students aged 2 to 18. We are seeking experienced and passionate educator for the position of University Guidance Counsellor.
The University Guidance Counsellor will collaborate with a team of counsellors to deliver a comprehensive听counselling programme to students in grades 9-12, addressing their 听academic, university, and career development needs. The role involves close coordination with parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure tailored support for each student.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
鈼徧鼴e fully responsible for the overall academic planning and university,听college application guidance听
鈼徧鼼uide students on course selection according to their academic level, curriculum, graduation requirements and college planning
鈼徧齅aintain communication with students and parents to provide guidance before and after undergraduate study abroad
鈼徧齌each university,听college counselling courses and ensure high teaching quality
鈼徧齂eep close communication with subject teachers and homeroom teachers in student development
鈼� Participate in / develop / implement / participate in school activities or after-school activities related to subject
鈼徧齋ummarize and analyze the student longitudinal data according to the requirements of the school
鈼徧鼳ssist and participate in school marketing activities and planning, program promotion, and so on
鈼徧齈erform the assigned responsibilities according to the requirements of the school
鈼徧齌o translate for parent teacher consultations as required
鈼徧鼳ny other job or function given to you by the person to whom you report

Qualifications & Experience
Education:
鈼徧鼴achelor鈥檚 degree from a highly selective university (e.g., U.S. Top 30, U.K. G5 for candidates with more than 2 years of experience).
鈼徧齈referred: Master鈥檚 degree in Counselling, Education, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ASCA, IACAC).
听
Experience:
鈼徧齅inimum 2 years of experience in university guidance, preferably in an international school setting.
鈼徧鼶emonstrated connections with university admissions offices worldwide.
鈼徧鼸xpertise in international curricula (IB, AP, A-Level) and application procedures across major destinations (U.S., U.K., Canada, etc.).

Skills & Competencies:
鈼徧齃anguage: Native or near-native English proficiency; bilingual (English/Chinese) is a plus.
鈼徧齌echnical: Advanced Microsoft Office skills; adept at data analysis and digital tools for counselling.
